TEHRAN, Oct. 21 (RHC) – Iran’s foreign ministry on Friday urged its citizens to leave Ukraine because of “the escalation of military conflicts and rising insecurity.” He also “urgently” advised against traveling to the European country.
“All Iranian citizens living in Ukraine are recommended to leave this country in order to protect their lives and safety,” the institution’s consular general department said.
In recent weeks, diplomatic missions from several countries have issued similar recommendations for security reasons.
The US embassy in Kyiv urged its citizens to seek refuge there and leave Ukraine immediately by land “if it is safe to do so”. For its part, China advised its citizens to leave the country due to the serious situation of insecurity.
