Iran Threatens US Over Supporting Israel, Which Rejects Ceasefire Check

The exchange of accusations kicked off the emergency session of the UN General Assembly in New York, which will vote on a resolution calling for a ceasefire. O UOL concluded that Brazil should support the text.

For Israel, however, calling for a ceasefire means “giving Hamas time to arm itself” and “tying the country’s hands.” According to Israeli diplomacy, if the world wants to end the war, all it needs to do is pressure Hamas to return the Israeli hostages.

Gilad Erdan, Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, made it clear that his country had no intention of abiding by the resolution if it was adopted. “The absurd text deserves to be thrown into the dustbin of history,” he said. He also denounced the fact that the Iranian government was given the authority to speak at the meeting after holding meetings with Hamas and Hezbollah.

This just shows how broken the UN is and how morally corrupt it is.
