Vahid Beheshti, Iranian activist and critic of the Tehran regime, visited Israel, where he spoke in the Knesset, Israel's parliament. The event is organized by MPs Ohad Tal (Religious Zionist Party) and Evgeny Sova (Yisrael Beytenu) served as a platform for Beheshti to call for Israeli military action against his country.
Beheshti, who currently lives in London, stressed the urgency of confronting Iran's Islamic government, describing it as an “elephant in the room” that should not be ignored. He encouraged Israel to adopt an offensive posture and attack Iranian bases and leadersHe argued that direct confrontation was the only language Tehran understood.
“The good news is this You have an army of 80 million Iranians thirsting for freedom and democracy. They have been trying to overthrow the government since 2009, but have so far been unsuccessful due to the regime's barbaric violence“, he said.
“The Iranian government is at its weakest point in 44 years. “They knew about the attack on October 7 in advance and thought that after the massacre they would reach a complete ceasefire within two months but that didn’t happen,” Beheshti said.
