MADRID, January 7 (EUROPA PRESS) –

Iranian prosecutors announced on Sunday that all jihadists involved in the Islamic State's double suicide attack that left 91 people dead in the city of Kerman last Wednesday have already been arrested.

The city's prosecutor, Mahdi Bajsi, confirmed the arrests in an interview reported by the semi-official Tasnim news agency.

According to prosecutors, there are 32 detainees linked to the attacks who are already being interrogated by Iranian security forces.

Bajsi also reported the discovery of “up to 16 explosive devices” in various parts of the province of the same name, “much more powerful than those used by the two jihadists.”

The terrorists activated the charge during commemorations in the city to mark the fourth anniversary of the death of General Qasem Soleimani, who was killed in a US bombing in Iraq on January 3, 2020. Almost 300 people were injured in the explosions.
