James Harden has been receiving a lot of attention on social media lately, particularly due to his uncertain situation with his NBA parent team, the Philadelphia 76ers. Amid the furore, posts appeared on social media saying the former league MVP was in a “secret” relationship with the “Lil Baby” rapper.
In a post from NBACentel, Harden was seen in a picture next to Lil Baby and the caption stated that they have been together for three years now.
“I enjoy him, he enjoys me. This is how we cultivate bromance. Life is good for me right now,” Harden was quoted as saying in the post on X.

But after a few minutes, the post was removed from the social media site. In just a short time it had 12 reposts and 112 likes.
The NBACentel X-Handle is a parody of NBA Central, which provides legitimate news surrounding the league. All of NBACentel’s posts are fake and therefore rumors that James Harden actually had a “secret” relationship with Lil Baby are false.
Kenyon Martin criticizes James Harden for expecting a higher salary at 33 years old
Former NBA first-over pick Kenyon Martin was a recent guest on the Gilbert Arena podcast and didn’t mince his words when addressing Harden’s contract expectations with the Philadelphia 76ers.
“If I’m James Harden, I can’t expect these people to give me another five years for $250 million. “I don’t give a shit what he promised me at the dinner table,” Martin said skeptically.
Martin added that Harden should be honest with himself if he wants to get a big salary at 33 years old and with a few good years left in his basketball career.
“If I’m honest, when he tells me that shit, I leave the meeting thinking he’s a fucking liar… If I’m honest with myself in that situation. Everything I’ve put on the table for the last three stops… Why would anyone sign me up for another five? [years] for the largest amount of money they could give me?”
The Philadelphia 76ers will open their season on October 26, Thursday at 7:30 p.m. against the Milwaukee Bucks, with no guarantee that James Harden will be there.
