There are no requests for arrest or preventive detention of any kind in any of the files available to the Vice President. It is obvious that CFK has always complied with the law, that there is no risk of absconding and that there is no reason to restrict his freedom.

However, as in the case of Lula, it cannot be ruled out that a prosecutor or judge will try to top off political persecution. In any case, it was Cristina herself who made the decision to evade justice and confront the political, media and judicial alliance identical to the one behind Lula’s imprisonment.

It’s an uneven game, but CFK has decided to face it.
