Actress Isabella Santoni travels Indonesia with her boyfriend, surfer Caio Vaz. For Instagram followers, she shared that the two struggled to get there among local surfers at a famous beach this week:
“The last two days have been the ones I’ve had the most in my life. We took a trip to Desert Point. It’s a very remote place and has a perfect wave. We went there to have that experience,” he explained.
Isabella said they could have gone an easier route, but they went with what the locals do: “It started when we took a ferry (ferry). Instead of taking a plane or a ‘speedboat,’ Caio said, ‘No, let’s ‘live the cultural experience’.”
They rode their motorcycles for two hours to reach the ferry, where they spent the night. She had to improvise a bed and slept on her own surfboard. At the end of the crossing, they still rode their motorcycles some distance down a dirt road before they reached the beach where they wanted to surf.
