‘I miss my neck!’ Isla Fisher pokes fun at her rigid stance in a new social media snap – but celebrity friends Helena Christensen, Rita Ora and Dawn O’Porter are all praising the actress

Isla Fisher’s self-deprecating sense of humor earned the actress unexpected praise when she posted her latest social media update on Tuesday.

The Aussie star highlighted her rigid stance while posing in a form-fitting cream evening dress, drawing attention to her neck, which was partially obscured by her hair and the tilt of her head as she gazed into the camera lens.

Captioning the shot, she joked, “I miss my neck.”

However, the post was praised by many followers, including a handful of celebrity friends, many of whom complimented Fisher, 46, on her svelte physique.

Danish supermodel Helena Christensen commented on the photo and wrote: “Who cares about your neck?!?”

An equally impressed Rita Ora added: “Wow neck whoooo!!”

While author Dawn O’Porter commented, “I want to know what’s under that dress. And I don’t mean your hot body. I mean, how are there no lines and what the fuck is getting your baps up there? SHARE THIS GIFT. Feel free to reply in your dms.’

Actress Mary McCormack echoed the thoughts of many, adding, “Um… no one thinks about your neck.”

The post comes after Fisher gave Australian magazine Women’s Weekly a rare interview about family life, in which she said being an actress was helpful while raising her three children with husband Sacha Baron Cohen.

“One of the perks of being an actor is having a bunch of goofy voices in your back pocket to whip out before bed,” she told the publication.

Fisher also admitted that she enjoys reading bedtime stories to her children and often uses her imagination to come up with fun and engaging stories.

She added, “There is often an instructive lesson that leads to interesting discussions.”

In an interview with WHO Magazine in April 2019, Fisher revealed that she has taken a more natural approach to beauty in order to maintain her natural looks.

“When I was younger, I often followed beauty trends with disastrous results,” she explained at the time.

“I once excessively plucked my eyebrows, shaved off the top of my hair and just dyed my bangs platinum blonde.

“Now that I’m a bit older, I prefer to accept our individual forms of beauty. I think it’s hard to tell us apart when we’re all puffing out our lips and getting nose jobs. It’s better to just love the gifts you’ve been given.”
