Israel: An American rabbi arrested for identity theft, this father had an affair with 18 women

An American rabbi living in Israel was arrested by police after impersonating himself on a dating app to have sex with women. So far, 18 women claim to have been victims of Yosef Pariszer.

After the Tinder scammer comes the Bumble scammer. Rabbi Yosef Parizer lied about his identity on the dating app Bumble to seduce women. The 34-year-old named himself Jake Ségal on the application.

He led a double life as he is married and has two children. The affair caused a great uproar in Israel and witness statements against Yosef Parizer were piling up. It all started when some of the usurper’s captors discovered the fraud and decided to press charges.

“Consensual sexual relations carried out under false pretenses, i.e. under the false identity of the perpetrator, constitute a crime that is legally defined as rape,” wrote one of the victims, confirming Israeli law.

Last Monday, the Jerusalem district court extended the rabbi’s pre-trial detention for another week. So far, 18 women say they have been victims of the rabbi. To achieve his goals, Yosef Paryzer’s speech was well crafted. He posed as a New York native who is single and makes a living training guide dogs, the Jerusalem Post reports.

While he waited to learn more about the rest of this story, the rabbi was reportedly fired from his position as rabbi in Jerusalem shortly after the affair came to light.
