This Wednesday, Israel attacked a residential area in the town of Nabatieh in southern Lebanon and the preliminary toll rose to 11 dead and several injured, Al Mayadeen reported.
According to the Lebanese National News Agency, the crime was committed with a guided missile against a three-story residential building and hit the Barjawi family's apartment.
The building next to the Palestine train station on Marjayoun Street in the center of Nabatea was completely destroyed, the building had significant cracks and was in danger of collapsing.
Emergency teams from all aid organizations and civil defense worked on site to clear debris and recover bodies of victims and possible survivors.
The injured were taken to hospitals in Nabatea as search operations continue, the news agency said.
Civil defense teams have rescued boy Hussein Ali Amer alive from the rubble, hours after he was trapped as a result of Israeli aggression.
Through a statementThe Honin Benevolent Association regretted the incident and expressed condolences to the fallen martyrs.
In the same context, the mayor of Nabataea, Howaida Al-Turk, issued a statement in which she announced the closure of the town hall departments for this Thursday, February 15, “due to the security conditions resulting from repeated Israeli attacks, in order to ensure the security of “Ensure employees and citizens.”
Most public and private schools and institutes in Nabatea and neighboring regions also announced their closure on Thursday due to fears for the safety of students.
Before the Nabatie crimeh, three civilians died in an Israeli aggression against the town of Al-Sowaneh in southern Lebanon, in addition to nine civilians injured in Adshit.
Several witnesses confirmed significant property damage from attacks by Israeli occupation aircraft in several southern regions.
