Israel calls on its citizens to leave Egypt and Jordan immediately

Israel on Saturday called on its citizens in Egypt and Jordan to leave those two countries “as soon as possible” as anti-Israel protests “intensified.”

A similar warning, level 4, the highest, has already been issued for Turkey, and for Morocco, advisories have been raised to level 3, advising Israelis against traveling there.

“Due to the continuation of the war and a significant intensification of protests against Israel in recent days […] and manifestations of hostility and violence against Israeli and Jewish symbols,” Israel’s National Security Council warned in a press release.

Two Israeli tourists and their Egyptian guide were killed by a police officer in Alexandria on October 8, a day after Hamas attacks on Israel.

More than 1,400 people have been killed by Hamas men on Israeli territory since October 7th. Most civilians were mowed down by bullets, burned alive or died as a result of mutilations on the first day of the attack by fighters from the Palestinian Islamist movement in Gaza, according to Israeli authorities.

According to the Israeli army, around 1,500 Hamas fighters were killed in the counteroffensive, which allowed Israel to regain control of the areas attacked.

According to the Hamas Health Ministry in Gaza, 4,137 Palestinians, mostly civilians, have been killed in the Gaza Strip by incessant bombing by the Israeli army.
