Ramallah, January 5 (Pressa Latina) Israeli bombings by sea, air and land today killed or injured dozens of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, particularly in the southern and central areas.
This morning, ambulances and rescue teams recovered the bodies of two people in the town of Al Zawaida in the center of the coastal enclave, the official Wafa news agency reported.
Three more bodies and five injured people were taken to the Nasser Medical Complex, he added.
The source explained that Israeli warplanes dropped numerous bombs in various areas of the city of Khan Yunis, as well as in the Al-Maghazi and Bureij refugee camps.
Airstrikes continue intensively in the center of the Gaza Strip, particularly in al-Maghazi, which is “totally surrounded and heavily bombed,” Al Jazeera television reported.
Gunboats also opened fire on the beaches of the city of Deir al-Balah.
In the southern metropolis of Rafah, five civilians were killed and others injured after an Israeli attack on a home belonging to the Abu Sanjar family.
