A fourth Canadian woman has died, her family confirmed to the Toronto Star.
Shir Georgy, 22, was arrested by Hamas last Saturday while attending a music festival near Gaza.
This announcement comes as Hamas claims to have executed nine hostages in Israeli raids in the last 24 hours.
Israeli authorities confirmed to Romen, the young woman’s father, that the DNA sample he provided matched human remains recovered at Kibbutz Be’eri, where Gregory and others had sought refuge.
Shir Gregory’s father also went to the military morgue near Tel Aviv to confirm his daughter’s identity.
