Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas met with King Abdullah II of Jordan in the Jordanian capital Amman this morning, Arabic-language media reported. During the meeting, the two discussed recent developments in the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza, as well as efforts to increase the level of humanitarian assistance in the Gaza Strip, particularly in the north.
