The Israeli Armed Forces announced this Thursday (19) the death of a leader of a radical group called the Popular Resistance Committees (CRP) in the Gaza Strip. The military also said it had bombed new terror targets in the region.

According to Israel Defense Forces, Rafat Harb Hussein Abu Hilal was killed in an airstrike by fighter jets in Rafah, southern Gaza. According to the military, he headed the military wing of the CRP, which is considered a terrorist group by Israel.

In addition, Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip have been bombed in the last few hours. Israel said it managed to destroy rocket launch sites, tunnels, intelligence bases and terrorist command centers.

“Israeli forces destroyed terrorist infrastructure in the Gaza Strip and killed terrorists, including highranking members of various terrorist organizations,” it said in a statement.

This is the 13th day of the conflict in the Middle East, which began on October 7 after a Hamas attack on Israel. Since then, tensions have escalated in the region.
