The Israeli military warned of a possible “further war” with Hezbollah after the terrorist organization attacked an air traffic control base in northern Israel on Monday.
The warning comes as the US has desperately tried to prevent Israel's war against Hamas from escalating into a regional conflict. Iran and its proxy terrorist groups, including Hezbollah, have attacked targets in the United States and Israel since October, apparently in an effort to spark such a conflict.
“This is a conflict that could easily metastasize and cause even more uncertainty and more suffering,” Secretary of State Antony Blinken told reporters in Qatar on Sunday.
