Israel will begin sending humanitarian aid to the northern Gaza Strip tomorrow, accepting pressure from the United States. This was reported by Kan public television. Yesterday, UNRWA, the UN refugee agency, announced that it had suspended aid distribution due to force majeure. According to Kan, aid trucks from Egypt are being checked at the Niztana and Kerem Shalom border crossings with Israel. They will continue on Israeli territory to the northern part of the Gaza Strip. “Local elements,” the broadcaster added, would eventually distribute them to the population.
