The IDF (Israel Defense Forces) announced on Friday evening (local time) that the 401st Brigade destroyed an outpost of the Hamas terrorist group’s Shati Battalion, resulting in the deaths of 150 extremists. Israel has been attacking the Gaza Strip since October 7, when Islamic extremists carried out the deadliest attack since the founding of the State of Israel.

The Israeli army also said that it took the 401st Brigade a few days to eliminate members of the Shati Battalion and take control of this outpost, which is located near a refugee camp and civilian buildings.

The IDF also discovered and destroyed missile launch bases, parts of the tunnel structure used by terrorists, and a site where ammunition was manufactured.

Forces from the 401st Brigade also operated from the Blue Beach Hotel on the northern coastal part of the Strip.

Around 30 Hamas terrorists barricaded themselves in this hotel and fired several antitank missiles at Israeli forces. After the takeover, it emerged that the extremists were using the hotel rooms as shelters and carrying out attacks from the upper floors of the building.
