Jonathan Drouin could miss tonight’s game against the St-Louis Blues.
Reporter Peter Baugh, who covers the Avalanche for The Athletic, noted on his X account that Drouin and Tomas Tatar were working overtime after their morning skate.
In his press conference moments later, head coach Jared Bednar would not reveal his lineup for the game, adding that it was “possible” that the two former CH players would miss the game.
In eight games this season, Drouin has recorded just one assist. He started the year in the front row with his good friend Nathan MacKinnon before being relegated to the third unit last week.
Tatar, for his part, collected four assists.
Jared Bednar wouldn’t reveal the lineup, but said it’s possible both Drouin and Tatar could be there.
