Derek Rosa, the confessed killer of his Cuban mother in Hialeah, returned to court and people from several states traveled to Miami to support him.

According to reports from , Rosa appeared before a judge again.

The teen confessed that he stabbed his mother, Irina García, to death in the family's Hialeah apartment on Oct. 12, and although it's shown in a recording, Marta Hernández, one of the fellow travelers, said she didn't believe it.

“I don’t want to see this creature, this child, in prison because he didn’t go along. “You have to do thorough research,” Hernández said from Los Angeles, California, before taking a flight to Miami this Friday the 19th. When the teenager was 13 years old, he returned to court.

At 9 a.m., a judge will respond to Rosa's defense's request that the minor accused of murdering his mother be declared “indigent.”

“We are with her (Derek Rosa's grandmother), we support her. We suffered, we cried and we want to be there,” Hernández said.

Since his arrest, both his father and grandmother have continued to support him.

Both assure that he is “an educated child” and “an honor student” and do not believe that the teenager is capable of the crimes he is accused of.

After his parents separated, Derek lived with his mother Irina García. The 39-year-old woman had remarried and given birth to a daughter a fortnight ago when she was allegedly fatally attacked by her eldest son.

The indictment brought against him states: “On the night of October 12, when his stepfather was not at home, the minor stabbed his mother, Irina García, including in the face. “A total of 46 times,” explained those mentioned above Media.
