After the Senate film studios? Former Italian film star Gina Lollobrigida has announced her candidacy in the country’s upcoming Senate elections. The 95-year-old actress, who has notably starred in Fanfan la Tulipe or Solomon and the Queen of Sheba, is a candidate for left-wing parties in the Latina constituency, 70 km south of Rome.
