Just a few minutes after the announcement of the death of Karl Tremblay, the presenter of the program “La Joute”, Paul Larocque, and the analyst Elsie Lefebvre regretted this sad news.

Paul Larocque spoke of “an indescribable sadness” that must have affected those close to the singer.
“Les Cowboys Fringants is now the heart of Quebec,” said the host.
“It is a great loss,” commented Elsie Lefebvre. “The Cowboys Fringants are more than a generation. That’s more than 25 years of albums and successes.”
“I am truly touched and stunned by this death,” she added. “Les Cowboys Fringants are as big in Quebec history as Beau Dommage, Offenbach and Harmonium. It is big. It’s a group that feels committed to their community.”
