Ivan Barreto, singer who represented Lulu Santos' team on The Voice Brasil 2023, was the big winner of the reality show. The show reached its final season on Thursday evening (28).
Lulu Santos was the only coach to participate in the program's twelve seasons. Previously, the singer had only won one season with the duo Danilo Reis and Rafael (3rd edition).
Ivan won the reality show after receiving 35.75% of the votes. The 43yearold artist competed in the final with Jhonny (Team Michel Teló), Thais Ribeiro (Team IZA) and Amanda Maria (Team Brown).
To cap off the attraction, the singer decided to bring the classic “Um Dia de Domingo” by Ivan Barreto to the stage.
After his win, he still remembered his moment at the Blind Auditions and repeated “I Can't Stop Loving You” by Ray Charles.
The grand finale of The Voice Brasil 2023 also marked the farewell of the reality show after 12 seasons.
Fátima Bernardes, who presented the last three editions, spoke about her participation in the program and the end of the cycle.
“It really made me want to sing. Being able to learn a little bit because it's nice to just open up your voice. And every voice is more beautiful than the other,” said the moderator.
Thiago Leifert, who directed nine seasons of the reality show, appeared in the grand finale and was moved as he spoke about the show's importance to his career.
“It was my first venture into the entertainment industry, I was still into sports at the time. When I got married I worked here, I remember getting married on a Saturday night and coming on Sunday to do the live program. When my daughter was born, I was here too.”
“The Voice Brasil is very important to me, it changed my life, just as it must have changed the lives of thousands of artists who came through here.
