Ivanka Trump has revealed her family has adopted a second dog, four years after she faced brutal criticism for buying her daughter a purebred puppy.
The 42-year-old mother of three shared a snap of her family posing with their new pooch Simba, a German Shepherd/Labrador mix.
Next to Simba was her daughter Arabella’s snow-white dog, Winter, who Ivanka bought in 2019 and who earned her major backlash for “skipping a rescue” and getting a purebred puppy instead.

The former first daughter shared a series of snaps of her family cuddling the new dog on Instagram.
In the first photo, Ivanka and Jared wrapped their arms around each other while Arabella, 12, held Winter, Joseph, 9, clung to Simba’s leash and Theodore, 6, stood in front of his mother.
The next snap showed Ivanka and Joseph sitting on a bench, grinning ear to ear while Simba sat in front of them.
Another snap showed Theodore and Simba sitting next to each other.
In another photo, the former first daughter showed off her love for animals as she took a selfie with Simba as they cuddled on the couch.
She made sure to include her mother Ivana – who died in 2022 at the age of 73 and was an animal lover – in the touching post by snapping a photo of Joseph and Simba sitting on a bench dedicated to the celebrity .
Ivana dedicated her time and resources to helping animals, and when she died, to honor her unwavering love of pets, the Trump family asked for donations to the Big Dog Ranch Rescue in Florida, the same shelter from which Ivanka adopted Simba.
Alongside the picture of Theodore sitting on the bench, Ivanka wrote: “I love you mom!”

On her Instagram Stories, Ivanka shared information about shelters where her followers could adopt.
“If you’re looking to adopt a pet, here are some great organizations to consider,” she said in the first post.
She raved about Big Dog Rescue, the “largest no-cage, no-kill dog rescue in the United States.”
Ivanka added: “They have rescued and rehabilitated over 50,000 furry friends.”
She also gushed about Rescue Rock Dog in New York City and the Shelter Pet Project, before sharing more pictures of her family and furry friends – including a snap of Arabella and Winter.

The former White House senior adviser and her husband Jared moved to Miami, Florida with their three children after their father, former President Donald Trump, left office in January 2021.
Since then, she has been documenting her luxurious getaways on her Instagram.
Back in March, Ivanka and Jared flew to Jerusalem with their youngest son Theodore, seven, presumably for their tenth trip in a year.
Ivanka, who was raised as a Christian, converted to Orthodox Judaism in 2009 to marry Jared, and they are raising their children in the same faith. The couple’s daughter, Arabella, and eldest son, Joseph, did not appear to be with them.
Ivanka traveled around the world in the second half of 2022, making stops in Europe, Asia and Africa.
And while she seems incredibly anxious to avoid her family’s future involvement in politics, Ivanka is not yet free from her family’s legal troubles.
Just two days ago, Ivanka testified in her father’s trial, in which New York Attorney General Letitia James is fighting the Trump Organization for $250 million in fraud.

Ivanka’s lawyers argued that the fraud complaint “does not contain a single allegation that Ms. Trump directly or indirectly created, prepared, reviewed or certified any of her father’s financial reports.”
She and Jared were also issued subpoenas in February by the special counsel investigating Trump’s attempt to overturn the 2020 election and his role in the Jan. 6 Capitol riots.
The former first daughter was at the White House during the Capitol riot and urged her father to reach out to his supporters. She was also in the Oval Office when then-President Pence called on Congress to block or delay the vote to certify the election.
Ivanka and Jared both served as political advisers to former President Donald Trump during his presidency.
