Édgar Ricardo Arjona Morales, better known as Ricardo Arjona, was born on January 19, 1964 in Jocotenango, Sacatepéquez and has led a successful life in the artistic scene due to his songs and talent with which he has gained respect, affection and admiration of masses.

He has become the most important icon of contemporary music in Guatemala, a title he earned through work, perseverance and professionalism, but above all through the determination to make his dream come true.

During his nearly four-decade career, millions of records have been sold and numerous recognitions for his contribution to culture, Arjona is one of the most admired Guatemalans in the country.

Its popularity has spread throughout Latin America, the USA and Europe. In addition, his tours in multiple countries and crowded venues will allow him to celebrate six decades of his life as a successful Guatemalan in 2024.

The artist, characterized by his free and rebellious spirit, has also shown his responsibility and love for the country, contributing through his Adentro Foundation to the social, economic, academic and cultural development of Guatemala, especially in vulnerable communities of limited resources, through high quality education in their schools.

Arjona has also taught solidarity by supporting families affected by natural disasters in the country.
