No way! Paige Turley and Finn Tapp have revealed it was freezing in South Africa during Winter Love Island season one
Speaking to Heat Magazine ahead of the launch of Winter Love Island 2023 on Monday night, Paige said it was “frozen” in South Africa.
Finn explained, “I put on a hoodie and jacket one night and the producers asked me to take them off. They didn’t want you to look cold.”
Paige then said, “You’d be sitting there with your teeth chattering trying to look good in your bikini. And you know how they had blankets and stuff in years past? None of that for us.’
Finn added: “I actually got a little bit of stick from my friends because they thought I just brought a new jacket and was going to wear it on TV. I can assure you it gets really chilly when the sun goes down.”

Finn and Paige also revealed that there are multiple shots of the same situation resembling that of Jack Keating joining the final series in Summer 2022 at Casa Amor.
Last year Jack revealed he was asked by Love Island producers to re-enact a conversation he had with Gemma Owen about their famous fathers several times on camera.
The celebrity descendant claimed he was “surprised” when show bosses made him repeat his conversation with footballer Michael Owen’s 19-year-old daughter.

He exclusively told Web: “I think the biggest and most surprising thing for me is how often they have to build things when they want to get different shots, different angles and different conversations.
‘The [producers] will again ask you to sit down and have the same conversation again and bring up the same things. I found that the most surprising.”
The Winter Love Island 2020 winners said something similar when they first met when bombshell Finn picked Paige out on a date.
Repetition! Finn and Paige also revealed that there are multiple shots of the same situation, including on their first date (pictured) when Paige had to do her walk-up “so many times” before they actually sat down to chat
For real? Paige and Finn’s allegation comes after Jack Keating said he was asked by Love Island producers to re-enact a conversation he had with Gemma Owen about their famous fathers several times on camera
He explained to the publication that he had to watch Paige walk up “so many times” before they actually sat down to chat.
When asked about toxic behavior and contestants who behaved in this way, Finn said fans need to be more careful before labeling someone as possessive or controlling as filming time is reduced from 24 hours to 45 minutes.
Paige added that anyone who was truly “toxic” would be “pulled out” – but agreed the show was “very cleverly edited” in the way it was edited.
