A scene sourced exclusively from shows Biden’s catchphrases, like his frequent use of “come on man,” as well as some of his erroneous statements, like confusing words for one another.

“I have drawn dialogue from actual incidents or documents, transcripts or emails that have been reported in the media as the source language of Hunter and Joe’s characters, many of which are actually quoted lines,” said My Son Hunter screenwriter Brian Godawa. to .

He added, “And a lot of them were taken from Hunter’s actual emails from his laptop.”

The film is available for pre-order and will premiere direct-to-consumer on Wednesday, September 7, but last week a roomful of donors, conservative influencers and right-wing Hollywood figures gathered at a Los Angeles screening room for the first official screening of My Son Hunter.

The private screening, which had access to, showed a series of scenes, each one being more shocking than the last.

In a foreshadowing of the film’s comedic elements, which centered on Biden’s gaffes and wild storytelling, the filmmakers distributed bags of popcorn to viewers with a sticker on the bag that read “Corn Pop.”

During the 2020 presidential campaign, statements circulated in June 2017 that Republicans had earlier proved that Biden was mentally unfit to be president.

In remarks from a water sports center where the president worked as a young man, he reflected on his life as a lifeguard by telling the story of having to reprimand a guy named “Corn Pop.”

“I was one of the guards and there was a board three meters long. If you fell sideways, you ended up in the damn cement over there. And Corn Pop was a bad guy — and he ran a bunch of bad guys.”

He said Corn Pop threatened him with a razor.

In a speech from Las Vegas on February 16, 2020, nine months before the presidential election, Biden said that when Nelson Mandela was released from prison, he thanked him for being arrested for him.

However, questions have arisen about this story.

Former Atlanta Mayor Andrew Young speculated that Biden confused stories about a congressional delegation going to Lesotho, a country entirely within South Africa.

Young said there was one trip where “we weren’t detained but were held back by South African police”.

Despite the conservative film’s unusually racy nature, it was warmly received by the crowd, and one viewer was heard describing it as “Not your mother’s conservative film.”

“It felt like something that would be on an HBO Max show,” said a viewer who attended the screening during a Q&A with director Robert Davi.

“It’s clearly not about the family movie,” she added.

“Well, it’s a family focus,” said Davi, best known for his roles in The Goonies and License to Kill, with a laugh.

The film begins with the line: “This is not a true story, apart from all the facts.”

The filmmakers say that while the film is rooted in actual events, it is portrayed through a fictional story.

The producers, Irish filmmakers and husband and wife team Ann McElhinney and Phelim McAleer, have described the film as a “biopic”, a type of film dramatizing the life of a public figure or historical figure.

“A lot of the mistakes or weird elements in Joe’s speech come from really weird statements or misprints, like the Corn Pop story, his claims of being arrested with Mandela, and others,” Godawa told . “They were said by him in different contexts, but I used creative license to combine them to express his true character through his true sayings in a new fictional context.”

“The entire creative technique is called telescoping, where a lot of things that really happened over a long period of time are put together in a short period of time for the sake of the film’s brevity.”
