Jack Wagner is grateful for the tremendous support following the tragic death of his son Harrison Wagner last month.
“Thank you all so much for the love and kindness you sent. I can’t tell you how much it means to me,” the General Hospital graduate said in a video of himself Friday as he boarded a flight to Vancouver.
Wagner, 62, added that he was preparing to begin filming Season 10 of Hallmark series When Calls The Heart and vowed to share some behind-the-scenes footage.
“Hopefully it will make you laugh and we can enjoy it together,” he added, “and thanks again for the love and support you sent me … huge … I’ll send it back to you right away so we will.” be in touch.”
Last month, Wagner’s 27-year-old son Harrison, whom he shared with ex-wife Kristina, was found dead in a North Hollywood parking lot.

His devastated parents revealed their son had “lost his battle with addiction.”
To honor his memory they established the Harrison Wagner Scholarship Fund. according to a message on the New House Life Recovery Community website.

“We are heartbroken that he ultimately lost his battle with addiction,” the website said in a statement, “and we hope that through this grant Harrison’s memory will live on and help other young men seek help with their addictions.” get that would otherwise not be able to afford it.
“Harrison was a bright, exuberant young man whose smile brightened every room he was in. He left many husbands and family members who loved him dearly.”
Harrison was struggling with addiction and, according to his father, had been missing for almost a week after relapsing in July 2016.

“I will ask those who wish to share their fears, addictions and struggles to do so with me via Twitter. We can face them together, I’ll start,” said the actor tweeted in 2016.
“I fear for the safety of my youngest sons,” he wrote in another tweet. “Harrison has struggled with drugs and alcohol, just like I did when I was younger. He has relapsed and is MIA 5days.”
