Jackie Goldschneider expressed her concern that Dolores Catania “might become addicted to being skinny” during part two of The Real Housewives Of New Jersey reunion on Bravo on Tuesday.

The 46-year-old reality star, who has been candid about her battle with an eating disorder, was asked by reunion host Andy Cohen, 55, for her opinion on Dolores, 52, who recently admitted to using a diabetes drug for weight loss have.

Dolores appeared on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live talk show in April and confessed to Andy that she had been using Ozempic for six weeks to lose weight in order to look her best for the reunion.

“I didn’t plan to look taller than everyone else at the meeting, so I jumped on the bandwagon,” she explained.

Dolores clarified in the WWHL that indeed it was her [taking] “Mounjaro”, a drug very similar to Ozempic.

A few days later, Dolores further clarified that she was taking the drug for medical reasons after receiving backlash for blaming it for her recent weight loss.

“I’m going through menopause, I have a thyroid problem, I have inflammation and I’m having a hard time losing weight,” she told the audience about her various ailments.

After the WWHL episode aired, viewers flocked to social media to call Catania’s latest interview “unhealthy and triggering”.

“Dolores says it’s #Ozempic and took me out so proud lol smh.” [shaking my head]” wrote one Twitter user.

Another asked, ‘Wait, isn’t there a shortage of Ozempic for diabetics?’ And Dolores only casually admitted with a big smile that she’s in?’

A third noted that it was “kind of muddled” that Dolores and the rest of the #RHONJ cast jumped on the Ozempic bandwagon as quickly as fellow cast member Jackie [Goldschneider] recovering from an eating disorder.’

Andy praised Jackie for looking healthy and “radiant,” and she noted that the weight gain on her face made her “look younger.”

“How did you feel coming back as a friend?” Andy asked Jackie, who took a reduced role as “friend” in season 13 after being a main cast member since season 9.

“It was a bit difficult for me. It was hard. I was only a few months in recovery when we discussed casting. I wasn’t doing very well. I gained a lot of weight in a very short time and just didn’t feel good. And I didn’t want to go backwards. So for me it was the best. And I also had the opportunity to write my book, which was really important to me and important to my recovery,” Jackie said.

Jackie’s book The Weight Of Beautiful, which chronicles her decades-long battle with anorexia, is out September 26.
