Jacob Elordi confrontation: KIIS FM employee 'receives death threats from Saltburn star's rabid fans' after altercation with Hollywood actor outside a popular Sydney pub

Fans of Australian actor Jacob Elordi are supporting the Saltburn star after he allegedly clashed with KIIS FM radio worker Joshua Fox at a popular Sydney pub over the weekend.

The altercation allegedly took place outside the Clovelly Hotel in Sydney's eastern suburbs at around 3.30pm on Saturday.

NSW Police said an investigation had been launched after a 32-year-old was allegedly assaulted by a 26-year-old.

Fox broke his silence on his shocking confrontation with Elordi on the show Kyle and Jackie O on Monday morning, claiming the Euphoria star grabbed him by the throat and pushed him against a wall.

He also claimed fanatics of Hollywood's newest leading man had sent him “death threats” over the incident.

“Overnight I had to block all my social media because I'm getting death threats and hate threats from his fans because no one knows the whole story,” Fox said.

A look at social media shows that hordes of Elordi's fans flocked to Twitter and Reddit to praise Elordi and criticize Fox for reaching out to the movie star while he was enjoying an afternoon drink with friends.

One person posted on Reddit: “The quickest way for me to side with a celebrity was.”

“I can imagine how bad the questions would be if Josh worked for Kyle [Sandilands] and Jackie [Henderson]” wrote someone else.

Another said: 'So we're calling paparazzi reporters now? The guy had no injuries and provoked him.'

Others defended Fox over the “disturbing” incident, with one person writing on Twitter: “This incident is deeply disturbing and raises serious concerns.”

“Just when I'm starting to like Jacob Elordi he does this,” a second added.

Fox has since posted about the incident on his Instagram Stories, writing: “Thank you for the nice messages.” “I will not be discussing or commenting on the Jacob Elordi incident, other than what I said on air this morning .”

Fox was sent to the Clovelly Hotel by KIIS FM to create a video of Elordi, who was there with two men and a woman.

He said he waited for The Kissing Booth actor to leave the venue before approaching him.

Fox playfully asked the actor for a sample of his bathwater as a gift for radio host Jackie “O” Henderson.

The request relates to an infamous scene in Elordi's hit film, in which another character drinks Elordi's character's used bath water.

He then claimed Elordi, who is 6ft 3in, “got up in his face” and “pushed him against a wall” while his two male friends surrounded him on either side and prevented Fox from stepping away.

'[I was] I feel quite intimidated and think something is going to happen here because I can't move. “They all surround me on this wall,” Fox said.

He then claimed that Elordi demanded that he delete the footage of the incident.

Fox said he initially obeyed and deleted the file, but when Elordi then asked him to delete it from his recently deleted files folder, Fox refused.

“I think if I delete this footage, there is no evidence that this encounter occurred,” Fox said.

He claimed Elordi began “acting aggressively” and said he felt “intimidated” by the situation.

Fox said Elordi then allegedly “turned around” before allegedly pushing him against a wall and grabbing him by the throat.

Fox then claimed that one of Elordi's two male friends stepped in to pull the actor away from him.

Moments later, Fox said he quickly walked back to the pub, prompting one of Elordi's male friends to follow him.

The male friend allegedly approached Fox and asked him not to speak to the press.

'[He told me]“Make sure the video doesn’t go anywhere. Make sure you don’t tell anyone about this,” to which I shook his hand. “Once again I felt intimidated by this,” Fox claimed.

The audio of the enema was also played on Monday morning's episode of The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

In it, video producer Fox approached Elordi with an empty glass and asked the actor if he would fill it with his bathwater and send it to the studio for host Jackie “O” Henderson, who Fox claimed was “a big fan of it.” could film “Saltburn”.

“That’s a joke,” replied a clearly annoyed Elordi.

“Are you filming?” he then asked and Fox confirmed that he was.

“Can’t you please, man?” Elordi said.

Co-host Kyle Sandilands claimed Elordi forced Fox to delete the footage but was later able to recover it from his recently deleted files.

In the audio recording, Fox's request was expressed politely and Fox appeared to quickly comply with Elordi's request to stop filming.

Jackie said: “When Josh heard that Jacob was at one of the hotels nearby on Saturday afternoon he went there. He didn't want to invade his privacy, so he didn't go into the hotel but waited outside.

'Seemingly [Fox] I thought it would be funny to give him this Tupperware container that said 'Jacob's Bathwater,' and Jacob didn't like that.”

Chron Australia can reveal that police have seized CCTV of the confrontation and alleged attack.

“The man suffered no injuries,” a NSW Police spokesman said.

“The investigation into the incident is ongoing.”

Prominent entertainment reporter Peter Ford also later commented on the incident on The Kyle And Jackie O Show, arguing that Fox had provoked Elordi.

Elordi raised eyebrows earlier this month when he made disparaging remarks about the film series “The Kissing Booth,” which he starred in between 2018 and 2021, in his GQ cover story “Men of the Year.”

“I didn't want to make these films before I made these films,” he told the publication, adding: “These films are ridiculous.” They are not universal. They are an escape.'

But fans of The Kissing Booth have criticized Elordi online, calling him “ungrateful” and “disrespectful” towards his former colleagues.

“Jacob Elordi needs to understand that when you shit on a project like him, he is also shitting on his co-stars, the creators and especially the fans,” one user wrote.

“These films are important to a lot of fans. “Don't dismiss them because you suddenly took a step up,” they added.

Elordi is currently Down Under filming his role as Australian Imperial Force soldier Dorrigo Evans in the five-part adaptation of Richard Flanagan's 2013 novel The Narrow Road to the Deep North on Amazon Prime Video

Another agreed: “I don't like actors who belittle their humble beginnings, the place where their career began.”

The Kissing Booth was Elordi's second feature film role and – thanks to record-breaking fan enthusiasm – he soon became a household name.

He will next reprise his role as “psychopathic” East Highland High School quarterback Nate Jacobs in the third season of Euphoria (with a five-year time jump), which began filming in December.
