Jade Cargill has reportedly broken up with AEW and is now in the process of signing with WWE.
Rumors about Jade Cargill’s contract with AEW have been circulating since her return to the big screen to face TBS Champion Kris Statlander. Cargill lost in the rematch in which she attempted to regain the title she lost at Double or Nothing 2023 last May, a bout that was in all likelihood her last in the AEW ring.
The reasons for his departure are uncertain. The Wrestling Observer reported that the wrestler asked for a higher salary to extend her contract with AEW, but Fightful also points out that the wrestler’s departure was not for financial reasons. Cargill also reportedly wanted a shorter schedule so he could spend time with his family.

The news site also appears to confirm rumors of a move to WWE. According to PWInsider, Jade Cargill is expected to visit the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.
Jade Cargill debuted as a wrestler in 2021 and became the first TBS champion at the end of the same year. She remained undefeated until losing her title last May.
