Jade Goody’s widow said the late star would “burst with pride” at seeing his son Bobby Brazier on Strictly Come Dancing.
EastEnders actor Bobby, 20, who Jade shared with ex Jeff Brazier, was one of 15 celebrities announced to fill the 2023 series, which begins next month.
And in a candid new interview, Jack Tweed, 36 – who dated Jade for four years before her tragic death from cervical cancer in 2009 – shared how the Strictly superfan would have been overjoyed to see her eldest son doing it.
He also shared that the Big Brother favorite would likely have “won” the BBC dance competition if she had had the chance to enter.
Jade, who also had 18-year-old son Freddie with her ex-boyfriend Jeff, 44, was just 27 when she passed away on Mother’s Day – exactly a month after tying the knot with Jack.

Reflecting on Bobby’s achievements over the past few years, including his role at EastEnders and his modeling career appearing for Dolce & Gabbana, Jack said Jade was “overjoyedly proud” of everything he’s done.
He added to The Sun: “It’s been a beautiful thing to see Bobby grow up into such a nice young man…he’s absolutely gorgeous.” Jade would burst with pride.’
And Jack reckons that Jade, who rose to fame on the third season of Channel 4 show Big Brother in 2002, would have won Strictly if the show had starred at the time.
He shared, “Jade absolutely loved dance shows like Strictly. She was really talented and a great singer. Because of her great voice, she won the television award “Stars In Their Eyes” in 2006.
“Whatever Jade sets his mind to, she would be great at it, she would have won Strictly if she had the chance, and Bobby is just like her, whatever he sets his mind to, he achieves it.”
Bobby’s former stepfather went on to say that he knew from a young age that the actor had “star qualities” because as a child he “loved acting” and singing and dancing.
With his mother being a big name in show business, Jack recalled how clear it was that Bobby – who was just five years old when Jade died – would follow in his mother’s footsteps.
He added that Bobby reminds him “so much” of Jade, particularly his caring side where Bobby is always looking out for and caring about people.

Despite his pride in Bobby’s participation, Jack admitted there’s a part of him that will find it “hard” given his resemblance to his late mother, but Jack insisted he’d rather be reminded of Jade than “to forget her”. .
He added that Jade would sit in the audience and cheer him on weekly if she were still alive and that she “would have liked” to see how well her two boys were doing in life.

And he appeared live from the EastEnders set at BBC Breakfast last week to unveil the Strictly news.
He said that while he was nervous about performing live, he was excited to “feel a rush I’ve never felt before.”
When asked about his dancing experience so far, this year’s youngest contestant admitted, “I just like parties,” adding that he loves “house and disco music.”
As for the show’s famous lycra, Bobby isn’t upset thanks to his ‘crazy’ costumes at EastEnders and his fashion background.
