This Tuesday (4), Jade Picon spoke out about a controversy she was involved in at Rock in Rio. On day five of the festival, the influencer froze when asked about an alleged connection with Shaman. Without replying, the interview was interrupted by one of the young woman’s team, who said that it was not in the “orderly” of the conversation.
For UOL columnist Lucas Pasin, the new Globo actress gave her version of what happened. “I know it’s part of my job, but it’s frustrating when you’re having fun and agreeing to an interview, but the reporter asks an unnecessary question about something you don’t want to reveal. It’s a festival, I want to have fun, I’m 21 years old,” he said at the premiere of “Travessia,” which took place this Tuesday (4).
After the controversy, rumors surfaced that Globo had guided the girl into deconstructing an allegedly unfriendly image towards the public. However, Picon has declined any dialogue with the network about his stance outside the studios. “It didn’t. I’m talking to Globo about the character, but I’m very much following my desires. I don’t see what I did as dislike. It’s actually all an answer, in this case the person was unprofessional with me,” he assured.
Finally, the former BBB revealed how she can protect herself from those tricky moments. “I think it’s a lot harder for something on the outside to affect you when the inside is fine. It’s about being comfortable, moving, protecting yourself… We will never stop,” he commented.

This isn’t the first time Jade has touched on the subject. A few days after the event, the influencer explained on her social media why she prefers to “hold out” some topics, but without mentioning the controversial moment.
“There’s nothing quite like being comfortable in an interview,” he wrote on Instagram Stories, sharing photos with a smile in an interview he gave on another night of the festival. “I adopt certain attitudes to protect myself from boring situations that invade my privacy, which isn’t much anymore,” he added.

According to Lucas Pasin, she would not have allowed many interviews on site, even if no topics were discussed. The influencer would have acted as if she hadn’t listened when professionals called her and, moreover, would always have stayed with her “group” which included her manager which would prevent the press from getting close.
