Matt Riddle had a career in the UFC before moving to WWE, and apparently he could return to that realm.
In fact, Matt Riddle was released from WWE after a new scandal while high on drugs – as explained on Catch-Newz – and is preparing his post-WWE adventure today. The Wrestling Observer says it has received information that there have been preliminary discussions between Jake Paul and Matt Riddle to arrange a fight.
It is rumored that Matt Riddle and Jake Paul will have an official meeting in the near future if these preliminary discussions are positive. Since this is a simple discussion, it is currently not possible to know whether this fight will take place under boxing or MMA rules. It will be interesting to look at this file.
Since his release from WWE, Matt Riddle has remained actively involved in Ju-Jitsu training, where he also offers seminars. A discipline he continued to practice as a WWE superstar, so Riddle still remained active in the MMA field and would be willing to take on a fight with such commitment.
