James Corden says it’s ‘under’ him to handle NYC restaurant drama: ‘I didn’t do anything wrong’

James Corden is feeling very “Zen” about his Balthazar line of restaurants.

The ‘Late Late Show’ host, 44, finally broke his silence after being called the “tiny dimwit of a man” and “the most abusive customer” by NYC restaurant owner Keith McNally.

After accusing the Brit of rude behavior, McNally banned him from the Manhattan restaurant. But just hours later, Corden called him to offer “a profuse apology,” and the ban was lifted.

“I didn’t do anything wrong on any level,” Corden told the New York Times. “Why would I ever cancel this? [interview]? I was there. I get it.”

“I feel so zen about the whole thing. Because I think it’s so silly. I just think it’s among all of us. it is below you It’s certainly under your release,” he added.

Corden, who is a father of three, teased that he could address the controversy on his talk show, noting that he hadn’t “actually read” anything McNally had written on social media.

“I think I’ll probably have to talk about this on Monday’s show,” Corden told the publication. “My feeling is often, never explain, never complain. But I probably need to talk about it.”

In McNally’s scathing Instagram post Monday, he called the entertainer “the most abusive customer” in the restaurant’s 25-year history.

McNally accused Corden, who has admitted to having trouble with anger in the past, of mistreating his servers by demanding free items and yelling at them.

“I don’t often have a customer, so today I have 86 Corden. It didn’t make me laugh,” he wrote in part.

In a subsequent Instagram post Tuesday, McNally said he couldn’t help but feel “really sorry” for Corden.

“Feeling weird about the James Corden thing,” McNally wrote. “On the one hand he definitely offended my staff, on the other hand I really feel sorry for him now.”

“Like most cowards, I want both. Damn it, I’m going to get drunk,” he added.
