James Haskell silenced Chloe Madeley during a tense confrontation on their reality series Chloe Madeley: A Family Affair.
The former rugby player, 38, had shared a series of bikini-clad snaps while working as a DJ in Ibiza, while Chloe, 36, stayed at home with her daughter Bodhi.
The offensive snaps had already sparked a row between the pair, with the personal trainer claiming it made her husband look “absolutely bad”.
James and Chloe have since split, but the issue came up again on their reality show – which was filmed a month before their split.
Trying to express her frustration, Chloe told James: “I had a really annoying day on Instagram today under that really annoying post of you in Ocean Beach with all these girls sticking their butts out. ‘It was pretty embarrassing.’

Really? The former rugby player, 38, had shared a series of bikini-clad snaps while working as a DJ in Ibiza, while Chloe, 36, stayed at home with her daughter Bodhi
When Chloe revealed that one of her followers had claimed she “felt sorry” for her, James angrily hit back: “Why didn’t you just tell them to f*** off?”
The mother-of-one continued: “It’s almost like everyone knows you’re my husband, and then you post a photo of yourself in the circle of these half-naked women with a big grin on your face, and then I post photos of me and Bodhi.” at home.
“I’m just a little embarrassed that people feel sorry for me and I don’t want them to.”
James refused to acknowledge her point of view and said, “Well then don’t feel like they’re ashamed of you.”
“Embarrassment is also a feeling, not a thing.” I didn’t embarrass you, you felt ashamed. It all depends on your reality.
“I’ll do it, it won’t change. “I didn’t do anything, they’re there, they’re paid dancers, it’s just about building the brand.”
When Chloe reiterated that she found it “embarrassing,” James retorted: “Go talk to a therapist, that’s not my problem.”
Chloe previously didn’t hide her anger after James posted a series of videos and clips featuring a group of bikini girls in Ibiza.
After discovering the pictures, she said: “He’s on Instagram uploading videos and photos of all these girls and I thought, ‘I’m going to kill you.’ “I’m going to fly to Ibiza and kill you.”
“He’s been posting videos of him with a lot of girls in thongs because he thinks it makes him look cool on social media.” I feel like you suck and you make me look like shit. Stop doing that.’
Ouch: When Chloe revealed that one of her followers had claimed she felt “pity” for her, James angrily hit back: “Why didn’t you just tell them to f*** off?”
However, she admitted, “But he loves it.” Honestly, at least he’s having fun. You know what I mean.’
Elsewhere on her reality show, Chloe revealed that she and James attended couples therapy to save their marriage.
Ultimately, their marriage could not be saved as the couple announced over the weekend that they had decided to go their separate ways.
In the show, filmed a month before their split, Chloe reflected on her past struggles as they were filmed recording a podcast.
She explained: “We’ve been through a really tough time in lockdown – our marriage has been really tested,” prompting James to remark: “It’s not much better now!”
Chloe joked back: “I know, still in hell,” before adding: “We did couples therapy back then.”
“I think it was my way of easing the fear of the fact that people thought we were a great couple, but we were a very tempestuous couple and went through some really tough times.”
“I like that – I know it sounds silly – but I think it’s important for people to be able to relate to what’s normal in a relationship, what’s not so normal, what the boundaries are…”
The couple officially announced their separation with a joint statement last weekend.
James and Chloe, who married in 2018, had fueled speculation about their relationship after the personal trainer appeared without her wedding ring while partying with friends – shortly after the former rugby player was pictured chatting to a mystery blonde outside a London nightspot.
In a joint update on Instagram, they announced: “Chloe and I have jointly decided to separate at the end of September 2023.”
“We had no plans to release a statement at the time – especially not while the TV show was airing – but constant speculation about our marriage unfortunately forced us to do so.
“Beyond this statement, we will not speak publicly about this matter and ask for privacy at this time.”
“Our only focus now is our beautiful daughter. “We will continue to co-parent with nothing but love.”
Ending: The scenes were filmed a month before Chloe and James split, with the couple making their split official with a joint statement last weekend
James shared his own statement on Instagram, adding: “It is with great sadness that I write this post, but unfortunately in the world we live in it must be done.”
“My priority is the happiness and safety of my daughter and Chloe. “For this reason, I will not be commenting further.”
A source told Web: “James is still living at the family home in London, he returned on Monday and was still there yesterday morning.”
A friend of the couple added: “It’s all so strange and it all seems quite strange to me that Chloe has done a number of interviews and spoken very openly about her life and marriage but she has failed to say that she and James separated despite herself. “A television show is all about her family life.”
