Sharing it on Instagram with a long caption, she wrote, “I’m still stunned that a moment of natural exuberance and joy became something of a symbol for women supporting other women.

‘@erin.gallag.her highlighted it with her great post and word anthem of support and somehow Tuesday night through Friday night it became a t-shirt left outside my house with a dozen bagels from my @everythingeverywheremovie family . I slept COVID and today after my shower I wear it proudly.

“#FRIENDSSUPPORTINGFRIENDS is a perfect team goal for 2033. Thank you Erin and everyone who is expanding it and amplifying the message and CONGRATULATIONS @michelleyeoh_official YOU ARE ALL EVERYWHERE AT ONCE!”

Michelle was honored for her performance as Evelyn Wang in the film, while Jamie was also nominated for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture for her role as Deirdre.

On the red carpet before the awards ceremony, Jamie told Variety that it was Michelle’s casting in the film that motivated her to sign on.

She recalled, “My agent said to me, ‘You know, it’s pretty out there,’ and I was like, ‘Yeah, but Michelle Yeoh is going to be in the movie, isn’t she?’ And he said, “Yes,” and I said, “Yes, I will.”

She added: “The film itself was less important to me, it was important that I understood who Deirdre was and I understood who Evelyn was and their relationship and their love story.”

It comes after Jamie was struck down with Covid-19 and is currently in quarantine.

The actress announced the news on social media on Friday, writing: “F**k COVID!”

The icon added that this means she will have to miss Sunday’s Critics Choice Awards, where she is nominated for Best Supporting Actress.

She wrote: “Unfortunately, this chief cheerleader will not be attending the weekend’s celebrations at all to cheer on her friends and colleagues. Live on life’s terms.’

Jamie shared a photo of three different home tests she had taken, each with the same positive result.

“I’m glad there are all these home tests so I didn’t go to the American Film Institute for lunch and spread my germs. I was so looking forward to going to Bafta Tea and the Critics Choice Awards as a nominee and a member of a motley crew! I’m so proud of these people and look forward to cheering them on through my TV. Stay safe out there folks.’
