Jana Kramer is now a mother of three as she has officially welcomed her first child with fiancé Allan Russell, 42.
The 39-year-old One Tree Hill alum confirmed on Tuesday that her baby son, whom they named Roman, was born on Monday, November 13, weighing 6 pounds and 1 ounce.
She gave fans a first look at the newborn by sharing photos taken during and after the delivery on Instagram.
Jana holds Roman as she lies in a hospital bed surrounded by her family, including the two children she shares with her ex-husband Mike Caussin.
“Allan and I are both overjoyed and truly grateful to announce the birth of our son, Roman James Russell,” she gushed in a statement to PEOPLE.

The couple was seen in March
“We feel blessed to have had the opportunity to create something so special together.”
Then they revealed the reason why they decided to name their firstborn Roman.
“The name Roman really isn’t inspired by anyone, it’s just a strong name that we both love, but James (his middle name) was both of our grandfathers’ names, so that was a nod to them,” they told the outlet on Tuesday .
Jana called her future husband the “most caring man in the world” as photos showed him being by her side throughout the delivery.
Other photos showed Jana’s daughter Jolie, seven, and Jace, four, meeting their little brother for the first time and Alan staring at their bundle of joy.
Jana looked completely smitten as she snapped shots of herself cradling Roman in one arm as he slept peacefully.
Jana previously said that her due date was set for December 2 – which happens to be her 40th birthday – but that doctors advised her to deliver a week and a half early via a planned cesarean section because of the birth of her older children complications arose.
Roman’s arrival comes a month after Jana was hospitalized in Florida during her “babymoon” with Allan.
On Instagram, she shared photos and a video of her trip to the emergency room on Sunday.
In a long post, Jana explained why she felt the need to seek medical help.
‘So. “Our babymoon didn’t go as planned, but there were some lessons learned,” she explained. “First and most important: the baby is fine♥️.”
The Steppin’ Into The Holiday star shared a video showing a baby monitor showing the little one’s heartbeat as she gives a thumbs up to the camera.
She then told her friends and fans, “The back pain I’ve been dealing with for weeks wasn’t just back pain.” Lesson number one: Don’t just dismiss pain, because it can be more serious than you think.

After her son’s arrival, Jana was visited by her closest friends
“Allan and I are both overjoyed and truly grateful to announce the birth of our son, Roman James Russell,” she gushed in a statement to PEOPLE
“So often (especially mothers) we just brush off the pain because we’re the last ones to take care of ourselves.” When I reported my back pain a week ago, I simply attributed it to pregnancy and didn’t tell the doctors told because back pain is “normal,” so I thought, “Don’t be a wimp.”
However, one concerned supporter suggested there could be more to the unease.
“Someone who was very nice in my DMS sent me a message saying it could possibly be my kidney.”
Jana wrote that she didn’t want the pain to get in the way of her trip, so she and Allan, 42, “boarded the plane to Florida.”
“I just couldn’t take the pain anymore and I was getting worse and worse, so we went to the hospital.”
The concerned person who sent her the message was right, and Jana was suffering from “a bad bacterial infection that got into her kidneys.”
“This resulted in a two-day hospital stay and antibiotics because I let it happen where it should have happened.” The Soccer Mom Madam star admitted to being a “slight hypochondriac” when it comes to his health .
‘Lesson. “Listen to your body,” she advised.
“You are not a baby and you are not a troublesome person.” If you are in pain, talk to your doctor. Leaving things for too long or not taking care of yourself when you’re not feeling well can become very serious.”
She also called her “wonderful husband,” who refused to return to their hotel and instead stayed by her side in a pull-out chair in the hospital room.
“*Tip… Find a man who doesn’t make you feel guilty and don’t leave your side when you’re not feeling well,” the Circles singer advised.

Jana and Alan, a former soccer star, officially announced their romance in January and revealed they were pregnant in June.

Allan is the father of 16-year-old son Troy and former stepdaughter Claudia, whom he is raising with his former partner.
Jana previously said her children were “very excited” to have a new sibling.
