Back in July, Beyonce announced she was doing “MeToo checks” for producers and staff on her tour after a former staffer was arrested for sexual assault in 2020.
It has now been revealed that Jackson, 56, will introduce similar controls and stricter rules before taking to the streets in April, according to The Sun. The news comes as tickets for the tour go on sale, which Jackson announced on her Instagram story.

“Janet takes a leaf out of Beyonce’s book and introduces #MeToo checks as she prepares for her Together Again tour,” a source revealed.
“The checks will screen everyone from their dancers and bandmates to crew and general staff to ensure they have no history of abuse,” the source added.
“It doesn’t come cheap, but for Janet and her family, creating a safe and friendly work environment is more important than profits,” the source continued.

The source added that Jackson “desires a completely non-toxic work environment for all of her employees and by implementing these early controls, is eliminating risk.”
The source added that the Together Again tour is “expected to gross over £70million and be a massive event”.
“A show of the size and scale that Janet is planning cannot afford to have anything happen to her,” the source continued.

Jackson also teased that new music will be released sometime in 2023, although no further details have been released.
