In the midst of organizing the inauguration of her husband Lula (PT) on January 1, the sociologist Rosângela Silva, Janja, took a break on Wednesday evening (8th) to record a special edition of Globo’s Altas Horas program , at the invitation of Serginho Groisman.
According to Cristina Padiglione, a TV columnist for Folha de S. Paulo, Janja was applauded as she entered and exited the studio and sat “in the show’s democratic gallery.”
The sociologist, who will already be First Lady when the program airs in January, was moved by the presence of Milton Nascimento, a singer honored by Groisman in this special edition of the attraction.
The emotion came when Janja recalled special moments in her life marked by the songs of the composer from Minas Gerais, who ended his career on stage in November at the age of 80.
Janja also told about meeting the singer shortly after the presidential election, when she captured the moment in a photo on Instagram.
“Exhausted from happiness, our day started at 9am and just ended with this wonderful surprise. My heart could not take it, I cried like a child time.
In the special program, Sandy, Maria Gadu, Liniker, Duda Beat and Samuel Rosa chose compositions by Milton to honor the singer.
Janja shared the audience with the likes of Silvio Almeida, Reynaldo Gianecchini and Sandra Annenberg, who also paid tribute to Milton Nascimento.
“Janja was applauded and applauded upon her arrival, during the program and when she left the stage. Her presence was hailed by some of those present as a promise of better days for culture and a new phase for the country with more love and less hate,” Cristina Padiglione wrote in the Folha article.
