Jason Derulo calls Australia home while filming local edition of The Voice.

And the American singer has revealed that there’s no competition when it comes to whether the coffee is better Down Under or in the US.

“I really think so,” the 33-year-old told The Daily Telegraph when asked if Australia had better coffee than back home.

Jason spent time in Sydney during filming and told the publication he’s enjoying his stay.

“I was able to relate to the routine and culture of Australia,” he explained.

“I’ve always loved Australia, but this is the first time I’ve spent any time there. Being able to go to a gym that I love to go to and have favorite restaurants is really cool.”

The star recently revealed what it was really like working with his co-stars Rita Ora, Jessica Mauboy and Guy Sebastian.

During an interview on Sunrise, he said there was a little “headbutting” between the coaches, but it all “comes from a loving side.”

“It’s amazing because I thought the format was designed for a lot of headbutts and of course there are headbutts but it comes from a loving place,” he explained.

The series returns this year for the highly anticipated 12th season, with a new cast of fresh talent for viewers to enjoy.

Country megastar Keith Urban dropped out with Jason acting as his replacement.
