Jason Momoa sparks concern after receiving an MRI scan for a mysterious head injury – after taking on his own motorcycle stunts for Fast & Furious 10
Jason Momoa put aside work commitments while undergoing tests for an apparent head injury over the weekend.
The actor was in Rome filming high-octane scenes for Fast X, the forthcoming tenth installment in the hugely popular Fast & Furious franchise.
But a recent Instagram post suggested that Momoa, 42, was hit on set in the Italian capital, with the actor’s head in a clamp, as he prepared for an MRI scan.

Captioning the image, which showed the muscular starlet with her prostate lying outside the cylindrical scanner, he wrote: “You have to crack a few eggs to make an omelet. aloha j. thankful for my ohana and friends.’ [sic]
While the actor didn’t offer additional context, he previously admitted to taking on many of his own daredevil stunts – including one that involved a recent motorcycle chase through the streets of Rome.
Speaking of his most recent role on Entertainment Tonight, he said: “It’s fun, I get to play the villain, which I haven’t done in a while.
“Now I get to be the bad boy. A very flamboyant bad boy. A little panache!’

The actor also suffered a series of injuries while filming his starring role in the DC Comics adventure Aquaman and its recent sequel Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
He told Ellen DeGeneres, “I messed up my eyes. I just got something in there that kinda cut it up and then I need surgery. I have a hernia, I have ribs out. I’m getting beat up right now.”
When asked why he keeps injuring himself while filming, the actor cited his enthusiasm for the work as the main reason.
“I’ll just give it,” he said. “I love my job and I’m a little too excited. The age thing. I’m an aging superhero now.”

Momoa has been very busy in recent years, but it also has a number of upcoming projects in the pipeline.
The actor has already finished filming The Last Manhunt, the story of a Native American couple on the run after one lover commits murder.
He is also rumored to have a starring role in Cliffhanger, a remake of the 1993 film of the same name, in which a mountaineer becomes embroiled in a gang of robbers’ conspiracy.
No plot details were released for Fast X, though star producer Vin Diesel made headlines in November when he asked former co-star Dwayne Johnson to return for an “important” role in the film.
However, fans will have to wait a little longer as the film is expected to have a general release in 2023.
