Jay Du Temple completes his first Ironman

The comedian as a former presenterOD has just accomplished a remarkable feat: last Sunday he completed his first Ironman race in Mont-Tremblant.

Jay Du Temple shared a carousel of photos of himself in action on Wednesday as he completed the impressive 10:55:50 athletic challenge last weekend.

The 31-year-old artist, who wore jersey number 999, was among 2,100 athletes who gathered for the most recent edition of Ironman Mont-Tremblant, which was canceled last June and postponed due to devastating wildfires.

The triathlon consists of a 3.8 km swim in Lake Tremblant, a 180.2 km bike ride on an award-winning bike course and a 42.2 km run through the Tremblant region.

“I’ll never come back from this I guess,” he wrote on Instagram. I completed my first full Ironman, encouraged and supported by my very best family, my family. What luck.”

A video captures the moment of his arrival, when the artist is greeted with tears in his eyes by members of his family.

The comedian, who will continue his Fin Tour in September, took the opportunity to publicly thank the organisers, volunteers and supporters of the event.
