Peruvian football has seen unusual and picturesque events throughout its history. One of them that is hardly remembered is the one with Jean Deza. The current Cienciano attacker had two moves for Alianza Lima, both awkward for the blue-white fans. Especially in one of his stadiums as a Victorian footballer, the “mouse” caused a lot of conversation.
On Sunday 17 May 2015, Alianza Lima hosted Real Garcilaso at the Alejandro Villanueva Stadium. The match, which corresponds to date 5 of the Apertura, became tough in the last few minutes.

At 55′, Juan Diego Lojas broke parity with a powerful header. Because of this, the intimate cast needed parity and resolutely sought it. Referee Ramón Blanco sent off Gabriel Costa after Pablo Míguez fouled Edwin Retamoso.
This decision lifted the spirits of the intimate players. A few minutes later Marcos Miers attacked Ray Sandoval and – verbally – the match referee, for which he had to take a shower. Seconds later, Miguez would suffer the same fate with a kick Joel Herrera.
At that moment, Jean Deza’s “show” began. Christian Cueva tried to prevent the expulsion of “Cotorra” by taking Judge Ramón Blanco by the hand. As expected, this was not well received by the referee who decided to send ‘Aladdin’ off. In all this excitement, the cards fell to the match umpire.

Jean Deza mischievously picked up the cards and passed them on the way a referee takes a player’s card. In doing so, he showed Blanco the red card and took it to send off Míguez and Cueva. At first the fact went unnoticed, but Deza’s fate was to be decided in the referee’s report: he was given two appointments to mock the referee.
