Jeannie Mai and Jeezy have made conflicting statements about their split.
The 44-year-old television personality claimed she found out about her divorce through the news, while the 46-year-old rapper reportedly claimed it wasn’t true.
On Monday, the actress appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show and admitted she was “disappointed” after learning that her now-estranged husband had filed for divorce.
Just days after she hinted that her ex was allegedly unfaithful, he told the host that it was “pretty difficult” to find out “at the same time as the rest of the world,” but the breakup was something she “did every day.” “I have to endure it every day.”
This came about two months after it was announced that the couple had separated and filed for divorce in September.

A source close to the couple said the 46-year-old rapper has denied his ex’s claims, saying he surprised her about their split and that she found out about the divorce filing from the news
“I think I’m better now,” she said after Hudson asked how she’s been doing since the breakup.
However, she admitted she couldn’t say that weeks ago when she was reportedly surprised by Jeezy, whose real name is Jay Wayne Jenkins.
“When I found out at the same time as the rest of the world that my marriage was ending in divorce, I was disappointed,” she said.
After their split, she said she “picked up the pieces” and focused on “discovering” herself.
Above all, she said her top priority is “being a mother to the greatest blessing of my life – my baby daughter.”
About a year ago, Mai gave birth to her almost eleven-month-old daughter Monaco with Jenkins.
She also said on the show that she wants to make sure her child can spend time with his father during the holidays.
Just last week, in her response to Jenkins’ divorce petition, Mai cited her prenuptial agreement and suggested that Jenkins had been unfaithful.

A source told TMZ just hours after the episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show featuring Mai’s guest appearance aired on Monday that these claims were false.
The insider said Jenkins also refuted what his estranged wife said on the show about how he blindsided her regarding their divorce.
He claimed that it was something they both knew was coming, as they had seen multiple marriage counselors and therapists in the time leading up to their split, the source told the outlet.
They also claimed that Jenkins strongly denies the fraud allegations.
