Jeezy files for divorce from Jeannie Mai after two years of marriage

Rapper Jeezy filed for divorce from TV host Jeannie Mai after two years of marriage.

The 45-year-old rapper, born Jay Wayne Jenkins, filed for divorce in Fulton County Superior Court in Georgia on Thursday.

NEW YORK – Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness Jackman have decided to end their marriage after 27 years and two children.

The filing states: “The parties’ marriage is irretrievably broken” and “there is no hope for reconciliation.”

The couple had their first child together, a daughter, in January 2022. Jeezy and Mai began dating in 2018 and married in March 2021.

According to the divorce papers, Jeezy is seeking joint custody of their daughter. The two had a prenuptial agreement, which Jeezy hopes will be enforced, the filing says.

Representatives for Jeezy and Jeannie Mai did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Grammy-nominated rapper Jeezy burst onto the music scene in the mid-2000s and is considered one of the pioneers of Atlanta trap. He has released 10 studio albums.

Mai, 44, was born in California and is a fixture on daytime television, known for her work as host of shows such as “The Real” and “How Do I Look?”
