This information was revealed by new court documents released by a New York judge about the activities of sexual abuse accused financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Ruslana Korshunova, who appeared in commercials for brands Marc Jacobs, DKNY, Vera Wang and Nina Ricci, was 18 when she was brought to the island in June 2006, two years before her death, according to the New YorkPost.

Mr. Epstein was arrested shortly after the Kazakh model's trip and convicted of having sex with underage girls.

However, what happened while the young girl was on the island remains a mystery. We also do not know how and when the young woman met Mr. Epstein or what consequences her “journey” had on her private life.

However, in the year of her visit to the island, the model experienced a career highlight, notably appearing on the cover of The New York Times Style.
