A few weeks after commemorating the anniversary of the death of Jenny Riverabetter known as ‘La Diva de la Banda’, his daughter Jenicka admits she is not the daughter of Juan López, one of the late singer’s husbands.
The model initially said that she’s always felt different from the rest of her brothers, in addition to the fact that there have been rumors in the family that one of Jenni Rivera’s children would not be her father’s son.
“There were always rumors or little things in my family, like a little secret that one of my mother’s sons wasn’t his father’s son. I’ve always been different from my brothers, they’re very outgoing, they like the same things. I always felt separated. I did not feel well”, he said on his podcast Overcomfort with Jenicka López.
As a result, Jenicka decided to take a DNA test with her brother Johnny López and discovered they didn’t have the same father and began investigating their past to find out their true origins.
“Johnny and I did a DNA test. It turned out that we are half brothers. Which means we’re not from the same father. At that moment it was like chin…or, wow! Because I had no mother to tell me what happened, no clue, no idea who my real father was.“He counted.
After much research, he was able to confirm that he was of Puerto Rican origins without giving any further details as to who his real parent is as he is distant from him.
According to the 25-year-old, her mother planned to reveal this truth in her autobiographical book, but for unknown reasons, this information was never released.
Likewise, he was honest, saying that out of respect for Jenni Rivera’s memory, he never spoke about it, and admitted that Juan López found out before his death that it wasn’t his daughter.
“I kept it a secret for a long time because I didn’t want to hurt my mother’s image. Juan found out in the end, before he died, that it wasn’t his. But he loved me, he took care of me like I was his own. I was his princess” pointed.
