Brad Pitt is currently in a divorce court with his ex-wife and mother of his children, Angelina Jolie. However, the actor is now facing a new legal problem as he has apparently been sued by actress Jennifer Aniston, who was his wife from 2000 to 2005.
This news was published by gossip magazine Heat World. A close source told the outlet that the “Friends” hitmaker is asking Pitt $100 million because he plans to sell the production company Plan B, which they founded together in 2001.

When Aniston and Pitt decided to end their relationship, the two agreed that the “World War Z” hitmaker would remain the sole owner of the company. Recently, however, Jennifer explained that she never received any payment due to her involvement with the production company.
“This isn’t just about money. Just as important for Jen is the beginning. The thing is, she was the co-creator and founder of Plan B, and while it technically passed into Brad’s hands, she didn’t get the credit she deserved for building it from the start .”
“Jen expects recognition and commitment provided Brad’s sale goes through. Up until a few years ago, Jennifer and Brad exchanged ideas, but it’s now revealed that Brad had had this sale in the works for quite some time (…) If Brad wants to do the right thing with Jen, he’ll reach into his pocket and give her a check for 100 million, which would be a drop in the ocean if the sale goes through,” he concluded.
Plan B has released hit films over the years such as The Departed, 12 Years A Slave and Moonlight, all of which were Academy Award nominees.
Pitt’s opinion on Aniston’s lawsuit is unknown at this time.
