Jennifer Garner made a touching gesture toward a homeless man in Los Angeles on Sunday.
The 51-year-old actress was seen chatting with a man in a wheelchair before offering him a care package of essential items in the parking lot of a Santa Monica beach.
When she noticed he was barefoot, she jumped out of her car to help him put on a pair of warm socks and even tried to give him the shoes from her own feet.
The 13 Going On 30 star, who shared a moment of affection with her ex-husband Ben Affleck the day before, generously offered him food and some cash.
In one clip, she was seen chatting with the photographer and asking to buy his shoes herself as her own were a size too small.

After refusing payment and providing his own shoes for free, the photographer also gave her a spare change of clothes and a blanket to give to the man.
Garner could then be heard in the video asking him to help her change the homeless man’s clothes into the fresh clothes.
In the clip, she was also seen showing him the items in the carefully wrapped goodie bag and opening a package of groceries before handing it to him.

She was seen wearing casual workout clothes including a white t-shirt, dark camouflage leggings and a trucker hat.

In an interview with Southern Living published in November 2022, she spoke about how she always wanted to help those in need because of her childhood.
She told the outlet that she grew up in a rural area of West Virginia.
She explained that she sacrificed her time and effort because she saw the devastating effects of poverty all around her.
“I didn’t grow up poor, but I was surrounded by it,” she said. “And I’ve always said that I’m a generation and a cry away from rural poverty.”
That’s why she explained that she reached out to the charity Save the Children because “they are definitely the leaders helping children in rural America.”
“I have been working with Save the Children for 14 years,” she told the outlet.
“And I hunted them down when I was researching which organization was most effective in rural America,” she continued. “Because I grew up in West Virginia where I knew some kids that could really use a helping hand.”
